Fall is here!

The weather is getting cooler and the days are getting shorter. A visit to the pumpkin patch and you know that fall is here. We took the kids to the playground to enjoy the weather, that for the first time in a long time, did not scorch the top of your head. Andrew spent the entire time climbing on things that were way to big for him. But, with the help of Daddy, made it up just fine. Madison loves to swing, the wind blows through her fine, curly hair and she goes back and forth. Her smile is just the cutest with only four teeth showing! Hope the end of the week finds everyone well and that you enjoy this weekend that follows. Hugs from the King's!

She did it!

Today, Madison took her first drink from a straw cup. In an effort to get her to move from a bottle to a sippy cup, we enticed her with a bit of juice and she was off! Wow, she loved it! I was so afraid we wouldn't be able to get her off the bottle, she LOVES it. She is doing well and taking it all in...a year is just around the corner!

I'll finally give in...

Okay, okay, okay...I am finally going to give in. The computer age started how long ago and I am finally getting on top of this. I guess I'll start one of these fancy "blog" thingies and see how it goes. Doesn't mean I'll be able to keep up with it, but I'm going to give it a shot. For those of you that get a thousand family updates, sorry. For those of you that are far away, I hope you enjoy the tiny pieces you get to see of our lives as I post. I am hoping that the first few days of fall are treating you all kindly. I have several pictures that I will be adding of the kids at the pool with mom. Madison is definitely taking it easy and Andrew is always up for the next round of fun, so the pics are indicative of their personalities. Andrew has started school and Madison is spending her alone time with Grandma shopping, napping and having solo fun...when there are two, it can get quite competitive. I hope all is well and that you will see more than one post from me, we'll see how this goes. - Jennifer
